Hi, I'm Eileen, Mom to a 5 year old and baby girl, ex teacher and wife.
Mud Crate became a passion project of mine when I had a toddler and realised that parents are under huge pressure to keep their kids inspired, entertained and creatively engaged.
I was a teacher for 16 years, so I like to make my activities educational and engaging,
and as a mom, I can't help but find activities that can be done independently, to give me time to sneak veggies into the bolognaise sauce.
My hope is that Mud Crate will facilitate a love of nature and art,
and maybe even inspire a food garden or two.
